Christopher KozakWhat is my perfect crime? I break into Tiffany's at midnight. Do I go for the vault? No, I go for the chandelier. It's priceless. As I'm taking it down, a woman catches me. She tells me to stop. It's her father's business. She's Tiffany. I say no. We make love all night. In the morning, the cops come and I escape in one of their uniforms. I tell her to meet me in Mexico, but I go to Canada. I don't trust her. Besides, I like the cold. Thirty years later, I get a postcard. I have a son and he's the chief of police. This is where the story gets interesting. I tell Tiffany to meet me in Paris by the Trocadero. She's been waiting for me all these years. She's never taken another lover. I don't care. I don't show up. I go to Berlin. That's where I stashed the chandelier.

Gerald TullHere's the story I got from the trial. Zimmerman called 911 about a suspicious person that he was trailing. The 911 dispatcher told him to stand down and wait for the police to get there. He did not, he pursued Trayvon probably some kind of verbal altercation happened and it escalated. Trayvon got the best of Zimmerman, bounced Zimmerman's head off the sidewalk a few times zimmerman pullled a pistol fearing His safety (And dont tell me you wouldn't do the same) (although I would have probably listened to the 911 dispatch) Shot him and he unfortunately died. Since then Zimmerman can't seem to stay out of trouble. And I don't know how he keeps having run ins with the law? But one could assume It's karma, Sowing n reaping just like O.J. plus the guy just portrays himself as a hothead jerk from the reports I've read post Trayvon. How he still lives in Sandford, Florida as last i knew, I'll never know? But this to me seems a case of yet again, 2 wrongs don't make a right and if you play stupid games you gon win stupid prizes.

Brian D PennellCan't blame white folks on this one. His murder was by a Peruvian. I was on George Zimmerman's side at first. Then, I thought about how screwed up it was to just be walking home from a convenience store and have a stranger following you. Then to be confronted by a person you have no idea what or who they are or what they are doing. I think Mr. Martin panicked and decided to fight because he didn't know what was happening. Should have never happened. Then Zimmerman got away with it to quietly go hide away in N. Dakota...oh wait...he didn't do that? He assaulted his fiancé and threatened her with a gun. Got in trouble a few times with the police and then auctioned the gun he shot Trayvon with. What an arrogant , asshole. R.I.P. Trayvon.

William FeltonThe same people using the Justice system as proof that Zimmerman was right are the same people that are upset at the same Justice system that didn't lock Mrs Hillary Clinton up. Which means the Justice system isn't always right. And in this case (and many others) they got it wrong. Once the 911 dispatcher told Zimmerman dick faced ass to not follow him he disobeyed a lawful order and should've been in jail (or the chair,Florida still has cap punishment right?) for murder. But alas the darker the skin the higher cost of Justice.

Paul DouglasI know you get alot of messages, ihighly doubt you will see this one , but these documentaries are good for awareness however awareness won't change our situation, power will. Power is what makes things move and black people don't have enough power. Something as simple as you and bae saying to the black male community.." Become judges, lawyers, police officers, nurses , doctors.." That is how we will gain power to solve alot of the racial issues we have and the many other issues that affect the blk community. Let's put away the victim mentality and let's push power and power will only come through education. Imagine how much men will enroll in college or join the police force just by your inspirational words.

Anthony SmithPrayers go out to the Browder family. I think the country should keep a close eye on Attorney General Jeff Sessions & the Department of Justice. Attorney General Jeff Sessions will be reviewing reform pacts between the (DOJ’s) Civil Rights Division & local police departments across the country. Attorney Jeff Sessions made it clear that the Department of Justice will stop opening new civil rights investigations into police departments & President Donald Trump’s budget proposal would cut over a $60 million from the department’s Civil Rights Division…the (DOJ) Civil Rights Division handles police reform, investigations of police departments & institutions. Attorney General Jeff Sessions latest move is to personal let police departments across America know that the DOJ will not hold the entire department accountable for individual officers actions. Watch over carefully the negotiations between the Democrats & Republicans. I’m concerned after Democrats block the Department of Homeland Security funding in a filibuster… the Republicans will start playing hard ball If Republicans cannot find funding for their Wall. They may start to manipulate President Obama ‘Authorization Act’ subsections 1021–1022 of Title X, Subtitle D, entitled “Counter-Terrorism”, authorizing the indefinite military detention of persons the government suspects of involvement in terrorism, including U.S. citizens arrested on American soil. American citizens could be incarcerated without speaking to an attorney or a judge. I stated right after President Obama signed the ‘Authorization Act’ “All it would take is the wrong President & the wrong Attorney General & the wrong Governors to manipulate subsections 1021–1022 of Title X, Subtitle D, & give law enforcement the authorization to start imprisoning immigrants & American citizens without legal representation. I believe Jeff Sessions could also go after protesters for being suspected of being part of legal activity & of course suspected of being involved in terrorism against America.” Baltimore & Chicago could be the first to experience Attorney General Jeff Sessions plans. Believe me…Jeff Sessions is the one that could very well do that. It’s hard for people to understand that people are incarcerated without being charged of a crime in America. Don’t get me wrong, I respect law enforcement..but I personally have experienced it & I can take a polygraph test to the fact. Years ago, I was incarcerated in several different states without being charged of a crime. I was set-up & incarcerated by federal agents who were Grand Wizards (KKK) & Scottish Rite Freemasons. How do I know? Because they told me so. I had no felonies at the time. I wasn’t involved with any criminal activity. I wasn’t on drugs. I didn’t have a past history of suffering from a mental illness. I never worked as an informant or for the government or law enforcement. I don’t belong to any groups or gangs. I’m not a racist or a militant person or a threat to myself or others & I’m not a threat to the United States of America. I never cried over it. I’m not seeking any kind of notoriety… I'm simply making people aware of the strange & corrupt practice by state & federal agents that can take away American citizens Civil & Human Rights & not be held accountable. While in custody the U.S. Marshals forced fingerprinted photographed me as someone named Antonione Smith a convicted felon. They already had my fingerprints because I was detained for two months in the county before the U.S. Marshals came & got me. I was detained under my name. When the U.S. Marshals approached me... before they told law enforcement to take me into custody... they called me by my name, Anthony Smith. After the U.S. Marshals forced photographed & fingerprinted me as Antonione Smith that had the county do the same thing & I was forced to sign paper work. They kept saying they didn’t know who I was.... I was already detained for 2 months up until that point… How long does it take for finger prints to comeback? My social security card & birth certificate came up missing while in custody. At my hearing the judge said, “ This is the strangest thing I ever saw in my court room.” The case was dismissed.... But this is a very long story & it's a lot more to this story. The web address is below for those that wanna take a look. Remember, this went on for years & it's a lot more to the story that was covered. They ruined great opportunity I was creating for myself. Sure, I can create other opportunities…. but I’m bond by public court & people are controlling the perception of how people see me by monitoring me. What happened to me is a very long story that span over a decade. It will take some time before u get to the part where I was arrested without being charged, but the how & the who are there. I warn u, this is done very sloppy, but if u have the patience & the right mind u can weave through it. Click here—>https://whosarat.websitetoolbox.com/post/shadow-informants-part2-8422183 .

Cal HammockYeah it's a tragedy / Dig a lil deeper and get to the Truth of why Black people catch so much hell in this country. You surrounded by a lot of Jewish influence you have said it many times throughout your career/ then you made that Hit HAM / You got the resources to do an in depth story on what the Lie of The Curse of Ham has done to Black people / That religious story was the pretext used for Black Enslavement / Forced Labor for centuries. The TRUTH is the TRUTH it's time for it to all come out. Remember Donald Sterlings sentiments in his rants to his girlfriend / He said that's just the way it is / Many in the Political Judicial arenas know that and don't want Black people talking about it. That lie of HAM was really a pretext to steal the Birthright and the Blessing / no need to wonder why the Brother was mistreated We know why. But to many Black people don't know why they have been catching so much hell. That's just as bad as not having knowledge of Self or Our Origins in the World.

James Christianson********* Guess what Jay ****** NOTHING is gonna change by closing Rikers. The evil demons who did this to him will STILL GET JOBS. Use some of your fortune and GO AFTER all the judges, prosecutors, OC's, etc. and EMBARASS & expose the and destroy their careers. I'm BROKE and I'm doing that for a living and helping dads get court-ordered time with their kids. You're accomplishing NOTHING if you don't GO AFTER THEM. Telling a story on TV is great but it DOES NOTHING. Take some precise action. If those evil sociopaths are PUT IN JAIL or prison themselves then the next in line with thing twice about how they do their jobs. Expose what a child abusing sociopath that prosecutor is who deposed him about his suicide attempt in jail. Attorneys have a Rules of Professional Conduct (RPC) and Oath of Attorney, and Civil Rule 11 obligation to NOT ABUSE the system to harass, embarass or harm another person throuh the court system. EXPOSE THAT!!! Call them out for the psychotic sick twisted sociopaths they are. I'm doing it and breaking even. Put your money where your mouth is !!!!

Rich ConroyI understand, but what if they did take the backpack?? I remember back in the late 70's, me and two of my friends attending a Yankee game. Three white kids from Manhattan got off the train, and 8 or 9 kids came up to us. We saw them coming up the block. We "crotched" our tickets. They took our jackets, our shoes, and cash. We all watched the game, and walked home from the station when we got back to Union Square in our socks. I'm not saying he's, guilty, but I really question his innocence.

Larry HurtadoIt's crazy when you think something like 98% of people never even see a trial because they're afraid of the years judges give out like candy. Our justice system will never be fixed as long as we allow it to be a cash cow for county's and private prison owners. Too many people profit off the incarceration of American citizens. I myself was charged with a felony crime I never committed with absolutely no proof. Facing up to two years in prison they offered me deal after deal. Stood my ground and paid a lawyer 15k to fight my case. During the trial they put my entire life out there and tried to make look like this horrible person. Long story story, I won, took the jury 15min to find me innocent. Unfortunately not everyone is blessed as I am to have a family to help with support and funds to get me thru this. I pray we find a way to fix our justice system.

Avery JarmanI am curious to learn how many of my American neighbors are aware young Shawn "Jay Z" Carter (born 1969) regularly experienced America's National HEALTH CRISIS, aka America's Culture of African American Child Abuse, Emotional Neglect and Maltreatment that evolved from America's long-standing, multi-generational, ignorant Culture of Racism? I am referring to a Culture of Child Abuse, Emotional Neglect, Abandonment and Maltreatment responsible for popular American urban story-TRUTH-tellers the late Tupac Shakur (born 1971) and repeat Barack "My Brother's Keeper" Obama White House guest Kendrick Lamar (born 1987) vividly describing in their American art and interviews the "T.H.U.G.L.I.F.E." and "m.A.A.d. City" Child Abuse Cultures that through no fault of their own, deprived these American men, their childhood friends, as well as many of their elementary and JHS classmates from experiencing a SAFE, fairly or wonderfully happy American kid childhood. In the early eighties I became a rookie cop providing police services to young Shawn Carter and the late Christopher Wallace's Brooklyn, NY neighborhoods. Two young Americans who became popular urban story-TRUTH-tellers creating American art vividly describing the community harming homicidal and suicidal behaviors they engaged in or witnessed other emotionally ill community members engaging in. Honestly, before becoming a police officer I was totally ignorant to the fact that frequently, often on a daily basis, I would be risking my life as well as dealing with the emotional stresses caused by attempting to identify, locate and capture light or heavily armed depressed, angry, frustrated, tormented, sometimes suicidal *(NY Times May 18, 2015 - Rise in Suicide by Black Children Surprises Researchers)* adults and teens as young as 13-years-old. According to Shawn's own admission, he was 12-years-old when he shot his substance abusing sibling for stealing from a family member. My friends, I am talking about regularly witnessing and interacting with a significant population of depressed, emotionally ill teens and adults, who through no fault of their own, during a critical period of human/childhood development, regularly experienced a potentially life-scarring disease/condition known to medical doctors and researchers as "Childhood Trauma." Sadly, my experiences in personally interacting with traumatized, emotionally ill Americans tells me much of their trauma resulted from irresponsibly being introduced to an emotionally and/or physically abusive childhood fraught with pain, struggles, torment, uncertainty, frustration, FEAR, demeaning government handouts, depression, sorrow, sadness, disappointment and hardships. :Childhood Trauma!: Just as sad is the FACT many Americans share my ignorance, having no clue that significant numbers of American children, teens and adults regularly deal with stress, FEAR and concerns for their family as well as friend's safety, while at any time of day or night counting the number of nearby or distant gunshots echoing through their residential neighborhoods. #JamylaBolden #LaylahPeterson I am talking about the hair-raising sounds of gunfire erupting from the semi-automatic 'Mack Milli' Shawn proudly speaks/raps about he and his crew/gang/posse using to enforce and protect their 'people and community harming' 24/7 drug peddling operation. A drug peddling operation Shawn offered to his depressed, self-harming neighbors, regardless of their AGE, emotional, physical or MATERNAL status. #AfeniShakur #GloriaDarden #FreddieGray How many of my American neighbors are familiar with the late popular American urban story-truth-teller Tupac Shakur's (often misinterpreted) #T_H_U_G_L_I_F_E Child Abuse, Emotional Neglect, Abandonment and Maltreatment *AWARENESS* concept: "The Hate U Give Little Infants Fvvks Everyone" ~Tupac Shakur "We need more people who care; you know what I'm saying? We need more women, mothers, fathers, we need more of that..." ~Tupac Shakur My friends, improving the Quality of Life for many Americans of African descent BEGINS with responsible, caring, loving Americans KEEPING IT REAL and honestly recognizing why significant numbers of perfectly healthy American newborns who begin life with a perfectly healthy, clean hard drive mounted above their shoulders... ...mature into depressed, angry, empathy-lacking, sometimes violent teens and adults engaging in homicidal and suicidal behaviors that frequently harms or seriously impairs the Quality of Life for their peaceful neighbors and community! Yasir BartonOn January 15th, 2015, a man was found unresponsive in his cell at the Broome County Jail in Binghamton, New York. This man's name was Salladin Barton, and his story is one of heartbreak and injustice. Salladin was arrested in June of 2013 on a violation of probation. He was also charged with felony counts of first degree robbery, second degree robbery, and fourth degree grand larceny. Barton and another man, allegedly accosted and robbed a man of his spare change. Already, Salladin's case has veered into unlawful territory. According to New York State law, grand larceny in the fourth degree is defined as, any theft of property where the value of the property is greater than $1,000. In other words, the charges do not fit the crime. Salladin could not afford to post bail, and tragically he would never see his day in court. He spent the next and final 19 months of his life in jail. During these 19 months, Salladin suffered a battery of abuses. He was subjected to emotional and physical abuse from the guards and denied basic human rights. Salladin suffered from both bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, which made him an ever larger target for abuse. His life was routinely threatened and he was told his family members would be hurt. Salladin was often called horrific names, pepper sprayed, and frequently beaten in the head and body by "beat down squads", groups of correctional officers. The beatings were so brutal, they caused Salladin to bang his head against the cell bars, screaming for a reprieve. Guards starved Salladin by placing food just out of his reach and then later throwing the food away. Other inmates tried to help by giving him their Good Source packets, a nutritional supplement used in the jail. In addition, his clothes were often taken from him, leaving him naked in his cell. He was shackled and placed in solitary confinement for long periods of time. Solitary confinement has been shown to have debilitating effects on an inmate's mental health. This was especially for true for Salladin. The abuses and inhumane conditions he endured further exacerbated his mental illnesses. As a result of the beatings he endured, Salladin was often in pain and pleading for medical assistance. He started having seizures, which he had never previously experienced. He suffered from blackouts, dizziness, shaking, migraines, and often had bumps, especially on his head, cuts, infections, and bleeding in his mouth. Salladin was put on suicide watch, medical observation, and even hospitalized. Upon arrival at the hospital, he was admitted for seizures, a head injury, and hyponatremia. This condition occurs in the body when the level of sodium is abnormally low. Salladin was receiving the drug Trileptal to treat his seizures. A common side effect of Trileptal is hyponatremia. The doctors at the jail failed to recognize this and as a result, Salladin did not receive more intensive patient monitoring prior to his Trileptal dosage being increased. Upon his release from the hospital, a thyroid ultrasound was also recommend, this was never completed. Shortly before Salladin passed away, he spoke with his attorney. Salladin has previously been in and out of the Broome County jail for minor offenses and in the past, had only spent days or a few weeks at a time incarcerated. It was during one of these earlier incarcerations, that Salladin had his hand broken when an officer slammed the cell door closed. Salladin's attorney was aware of the previous and current abuse and was working on having him transferred to a mental health facility. On January 14th, the day before he died, fellow inmates recall Salladin being in a good mood and telling them he was going to be released and sent to a mental hospital. Tragically, this never happened. That same day, correction officers entered his cell and beat him so badly, they caused serious injury, pain, and suffering. The next day, while speaking with another inmate, Salladin abruptly stopped speaking and fell to the floor unconscious. Inmates report that Salladin was left in this state for an unreasonable period of time before he was attended to by medical personal. When Salladin's family was notified about his death, they were told he died of drug overdose. Jail officials claim Salladin's girlfriend slipped him drugs when she came to visit him. This of course, proved to be false. In addition, three different toxicology reports came back inconclusive. Then the Sherrif, David E. Harder claimed Salladin died from Artane intoxication. While he did have an elevated level of Artane in his system and this could be a contributing factor, the Medical Review Board ruled this was not the cause of death. They have concluded that Salladin's clinical cause of death was lethal hyperkalemia in addition to an undiagnosed Syndrome of Inappropriate Antidiuretic Hormone secretion (SIADH). This was most likely caused by the prolonged prescribed use of Trileptal and excessive water intake. Hyperkalemia occurs when the potassium level in your blood is higher than normal. SIADH impairs your body's ability to excrete water. His autopsy report also diagnosed Salladin with untreated pneumonia. What this means is that Salladin had undiagnosed medical conditions that were exacerbated by the drugs prescribed by the doctors at the jail. As a result, of the medical personal's negligence, these medical conditions were left unchecked and continued to worsen, causing the death of Salladin Barton. In addition, due to the months of physical and emotional abuse and starvation he suffered from, Salladin's body was weak and worn down. While Salladn's story is unique in that the abuse and neglect he endured were so extreme, unfortunately, he is not the only one who has suffered in Sherrif Harder's jail. www.facebook.com/JusticeForSalB/

Sydney Hart8month before he got lock for the so call bookbag robbery he was arrested for stealing a delivery truck and crashing it (him and his boy) they didnt tell you that in the paper and it he was charge with grand larceny... so he pled guilty and took a Y.O (youth offender) and got probation When he got lock for the bookbag his bail was 3 thousand so out of that 300 was to be paid cause its 10% you basically pay in cash . For the so call bookbag incident he and his boy was lock for robbery, they forgot to put the "assault" and again Grand larceny hmmmm ... his boy was set free but because he was on probation he had a bail ... They said they didnt have the money to pay the bail but his mom had 7 kids and all except 2 was adopted..hmmmm so she was getting a check hmmmm He was indicated on robbery of mexican immigrant Roberto Bautista for taking his backpack which contained a digital camera an Ipod and $700 in cash. Of Bautista said he punched him in the face.. so because he violated his probation his bail was DENIED .. OKAY LETS TALK ABOUT RIKERS There is no way you can accumulate 400 box days by being innocent and not causing hell...(this is a fact) box days on average incident was 10-25 days for every situation. Not so much infraction.. OHHHH RIKERS DONT HAVE A BOX. RIKERS HAVE PUNITIVE SEGREGATION BIG DIFFERENCE LOOK IT UP ..BUT IMA SAY A SHORT VERSION ANYWAY "BOX". IS ISOLATION FROM EVERYONE. "SEGREGATION" IS YOU STAY IN YOUR CELL WITH PEOPLE AROUND YOU ..also (not saying he didnt have mental illness) but 95% of adolescence inmates played the suicidal card to not go to the box ..they are called box beaters... look at thr stats of how much mental health adolescents rikers had when there was a box.....Now look how much they have now that there isnt a box.. i can bet my bottom dollar its down 90% OK BACK TO HIS CASE The reason he was released was not because he was found innocent he wasnt found innocent or guilty.. he had to be released because the district attorney had filled a memo with the court that Bautista who accused browder had gone back to Mexico. And the district attorney Lost contact with him and his brother... So what was next.......they had no "burden of proof " which means no witness no case ...... thats the oldest trick in the book for inmates ....to wait it out til the accuser stop showing up for court cause they have lives and not gonna keep wastong their time especially for a small case and for a immigrant... OKAY NOW HE IS RELEASED. im sure its not easy being home after being lock. Everyone handle it different so he is getting alot of shine They dont talk to you about he got locked up again.... when he was home for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct ... because his brother "Got rob" and they went to confront the guys who robbed his older brother... .. he got released and days before he had to go back to court he had a successful hang up... (this is a sad part either way) ON THE NIGHT HE COMMITTED SUICIDE He had 2 empty bottle of "antipsychotic drug" on a table at his home... was it the drug that he was taking made him commit suicide or was it those drugs he didnt take that made him commit suicide...?... One thing for sure 2 things are for certain. Rikers just hold inmates because the have to be held until the courts say so. .. Alot of roles was played in his incarceration.. but dont blame rikers.. and also when alot of these kids claim mental health issues they are often put on medications so these medications are meant for real people with problems so when you do take it be sure to know you will have problems.. and even he said that he didnt have mental health issues before he went to rikers...hmmmm Anyway its a sad story but people are exploiting it for personal gains and spotlight... cause there are kids in jail now but i dont see jay z coming to visit.... melo visited, kiss visited where is Jay-Z at... exactly Disclaimer: these are my views and my views only. Not the views of corrections or the nyc department of corrections and/or their affiliates

I'm pissed off watching this. This is a story about injustice and I am wondering if Jay-Z and whomever else was involved in the production of this considered this fact before they paid that asshole to sit behind his antique desk and give commentary.

Danielle DameThank you for your work in exposing the continuation of racial injustice, murder, and abuse covered up by white people in power at Rikers Island through the Kalief Browder story on spike. I cannot watch it but in twenty minute increments because I am so shaken by it. Our society needs more brave people in the public eye, and with the power and respect you hold, to help bring to light the problems with mass incarceration in our penal system. "Their only crime is that they're poor" ... this is truly a shock to most people who have no experienced it and I thank you for helping expose it on a more national level. My brother was incarcerated and was bailed out. My parents paid his bail. For much more abhorrent and viable crimes than poor Kalief. If he was poor and person of color the lord only knows what would've happened to him. I am a member of SURJ and I will continue to be an ally in the fight against racial injustice, in the penal system and in our streets. Much love.

GM Miguel FigueroaThis is a call to anyone who may be able to assist. On Sept 2nd., 1985, ( Labor Day ) I was arrested for the alleged robbery of a child's bike ( I truly did not take ). Yes, people I know did , in fact , steal the bike. I was there but attempted to stop it , non violently ( because I knew almost everyone involved. I was able to prevent them from harming the victoms, but was unable to prevent the theft. I was arrested , and spent 1yr. 2 mos. in jail awaiting trial. All the while contending my innocense. To convict me the complaintiff ( Timothy ) { younger brother } and witness ( Robert ) { older brother } willfully exchanged identities on the stand. So, Robert could use his military title in the complaintiff's spot to sway the jury. That constitutes perjury. It was acquiesced by the ADA then covered up on the translated version ( by the courts ). I made mention, at that time , to my represention ( legal aide attorney ) , and was told that " sometimes a younger brother uses the older brother's name to gain rep ". So, I didn't argue. I made statements reflecting my confussion in their ID's. That were also extracted from the translated version. Things got so bad the ADA syopped the stenographer to tell my co-defendants " If you want your plea bargains you have to say he (I) did something. Anything " The following week , after sentencing, I was rushed UP STATE , so I would'nt be able to reach out for help. Because, the phone calls are not free so contacting someone was almost impossible. I served 4 yrs. in ATTICA CF, and 8 yrs. on parole. I can't get a job. I am willing to go on POLLYGRAPH , if it would help my situation. I know the : coplaintiff , witness' , and ADA ; can't ( won't ) do the same. I'm stating all of this because I need help. I need a legal venue to persue this because I dont want to seek vengeance via pistol. Although, it is always tempting me, as more of my life is wrecked due to this injustice. Hoping someone could point me in a direction of people who can help me. If I had done this I would have accepted 1 1/2- 4 1/2yrs. when I already had 1yr. 2mos. incarceration. My story didn't change in over 25 yrs. Because when you are victomized you NEVER forget. I lost too much due to the lies used to convict me. TY LIFES CORRIDORS by Miguel L. James YoungJESUS EXPLAINS THE STRENGTH OF THE FOUNDATION Luke 6:46] And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? [47] Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: GOOD FOUNDATION [48] He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. (The truth) BAD FOUNDATION [49] But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great. Note: Building the right foundation consist of hearing and doing, in other words hearing the truth and applying what was heard, because if we only just hear and see the blue print, and don't apply the blue print properly we will end up with a house without a foundation and every house without a foundation will immediately fall when the storms of life beat up against it, it will fall with a great crash. Jesus came with grace and truth, but its not enough just to hear the truth, we have got to apply the truth in order for it to work.

Derrick Barron ChilakaThis is God's given vision; God's vision. My Thought About The Future Generation! THINK ABOUT THE FUTURE GENERATION! The Bible says, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6). Your nation's youth are her greatest asset, and you must have them in focus. A lot of people want today's satisfaction for themselves and are not thinking about the future generations--our adorable children---the leaders of tomorrow. No wonder the LORD Jesus loves them so dearly, and never gets weary of them. Once, His disciples tried to prevent people from bringing their children to Him, but He rebuked them saying, "Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God" (Mark 10:14). My beloved preserved brethren, it's important for us to give special attention to children especially the destitute children in our cities, street corners, squatter camps, slums, under the bridges etc! These ones live on squalor, abject poverty, neglect and despair. But we can bring them hope. Many of them are frustrated and bereft of a chance to live. Some die every day from starvation, with no one to help. Most have turned beggars on the streets. A child turned beggar from a tender age would surely become a violent adult. He would take out his anger and frustration on society. This is one of the reasons for increasing crimes in society; the reason we must do something now. According to the Bible, children are a blessing, and a gift from the LORD (Psalm 127:3). God expects them to be raised in the right way (Proverbs 22:6). It's important that we give then special attention and consideration when making decisions, whether or not they are our biological children. It's your responsibility to put things in place or set things right to safeguard the future of our children. Remember, every child is your child. SUCCESS IS MAKING THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE AS WE MET! I grew up in the STREET and I know what takes to survive the STREET. There are so many young people in the street! Many of them are God's army generals.

Sara TingThank you for doing this documentary! I heard the interview on NPR radio. My heart was aching hearing you tell the story about the injustice to this person, this young black man. The justice system did not do right by him. World Unity, Inc. would like to share a 30 sec. PSA. Mikey HawkinsThank the Clintons and their Crime Bill and all the other Liberal Politicians who turned a blind eye. Black folks (most of them) kill me. If you want to rail against hate, rail against a system that has destroyed the black family and has imprisoned thousands of young black men (many with no priors) incarcerated because of possessing a small quantity of marijuana. Like this young man the majority cannot post bail. So they are left in prison with a high risk of being turned into hardened criminals by the system. Obama, the savior, did nothing for these young men, and he certainly had the power to do so.

Sean CarterIf you want to help donate to the innocence project. They are doing great work but this happens so much they can't keep up. This story is more common then people want to admit. If you don't have money and end up in the cross hairs of the system it is brutal.

Betsy RonelThis is horrific and all too common. Now if more prisons get privatized it will only get worse as will senseless incarcerations! I'm sorry this young man and his mother had to experience this HORROR. May he educate others and heal from these trespasses and trauma. God bless. I wish I had an immediate answer to stop this. My prayers are with him on his journey of healing.

Robert BrysonI applaud jay-z for stepping up to the plate and finally throwing some light on one of the problems in America. But no disrespect to me khalief but why create a show for him. There's hundreds of prolly thousands of innocent black and white males in jail or prison for a crime they didn't do. So jay-z is going to just support mr. khalief. That's not fair support everybody. Be a leader Sean carter.

Lenette RangerThis young man eventually ended up taking his own life after being released, where was Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson when his family needed them? These are the kind of issues that they need to talk about.

Nate CantaveWe all can sit here and comment on Facebook or actually take a stand and make a change. If we all think that our government (which caters the rich and punishes the poor) is going to help us then we are doomed. The power has always been in our hands, we all were just too blind to see.

Vinson RamonaSo many people that post lack common sense, common knowledge and common decency. This is just one story being told and there are so many others. Nobody will EVER know what this mother went through unless they were in her shoes coulda, woulda, shoulda, everyone always says until it's you. This lady lived in poverty, husband left her, medical issues, and being unable to work because of that, she had other children, and her son incarcerated for something he did not do. Being convicted of a felony for joyriding in a bread truck and being on probation is what denied him bail. So before anyone says she failed her son please inform us of how you would have handled right here. Stop calling people out unless you personally know the situation and the parties involved.
